It’s clear that Vaughen, despite shooting the child, is more of a victim than a villain. For the rest of the film, they try to carefully exit their way out of the village without anyone finding out what happened in the woods, which becomes increasingly difficult as the movie goes on, leading us to a message of what is the right thing to do. They of course are hunting in an illegal zone that is used for tourist hikes, which throws another problem to the mix, aside from murdering the kid accidentally as Marcus eventually catches up to murder the one witness before he could react, leaving them in deeper trouble. ![]() What Marcus doesn’t think through is that his friend is inexperienced with hunting, and upon firing his first shot, the deer evades and the bullet strikes through the skull of a child instead. Calibre (Directed By Matt Palmer)Ī Edinburgh businessman named Marcus (played by Martin McCann) takes his closest friend Vaughen (played by Jack Lowden) out on a deer hunting trip near a small village on the Scottish Highlands. Also, two Scottish buddies try out deer-hunting, only to accidentally murder innocent humans, finding themselves in a scary criminal situation with Netflix’s Calibre. We’ve got Ant-Man teaming up with The Wasp to fight a larger villain. Now, it’s time to check out the other pair of films for this week. Earlier this week, I did my review for TAU & The First Purge.
